Control Systems

Bridge12 offers a graphical user interface (GUI) based turnkey and user-friendly control software for non-gyrotron experts to operate our gyrotrons. These systems can be customized based on user requirements and eventual end use. The control system is based on Linux and integrates the control and monitoring of all sub-systems including an FPGA based hardware controller for system and user safety.

Bridge12 GCS is designed to enhance ease of operation and provide a rich user experience with an intuitive user interface. Most gyrotron sytems are used by researchers who may not be familiar with the intricacies of operating a gyrotron. The Bridge12 GCS automates the entire operating process for turning on, operating and shutting down the gyrotron.

Bridge12 GCS comes equipped with features to ensure stable power and frequency during a long run from tends of seconds to multiple days. The inbuilt controller can read data from the the Bride12 Flow Calorimeter (FCM) or the Bridge12 Frequency Measurement System (FMS) and other accessories to maintain stability in one or more parameters chosen by the user.
